Acquisitions Manager
The Acquisitions Manager is a new phase of the GIST project that transforms ILLiad into a full featured acquisitions module, allowing you to perform the entire acquisitions workflow without your ILS.
- Manage purchase requests using enhanced GIST for ILLiad Webpages components, include faculty budget information
- Purchase, encumber, and record order information using a suite of addons, without switching to your ILS
- Attach your symbol and download the MARC record using the Connexion addon
- Make informed decisions using a customizable, weighted conspectus based on your collection building priorities
We encourage new and existing GIST users to review our implementation guide, which will take you from the planning process through the launch of your new acquisitions system. These instructions will highlight the steps that current GIST users need to adapt their existing implementation to utilize the Acquisitions Manager components.
Atlas Systems to provide GIST implementation service
We are pleased to announce that Atlas Systems will offer ILLiad customers GIST implementation services. This is geared especially for sites that want to use ILLiad, but lack the support or technical expertise to implement it themselves. This fits right in with Atlas’ other Training & Library Solutions, including the popular ILLiad Tune Up service that has helped many libraries bring their ILLiad implementations up to speed.
